WilmerHale was recognized on the 2021 ChIPs Honor Roll as a result of our Inclusion Blueprint Leadership & IP Index Score and “Do Something Hard” commitment. The award is sponsored by the ChIPs Board, a nonprofit organization focused on advancing and connecting women in technology, law and policy, in partnership with Diversity Lab.

The Inclusion Blueprint is a joint initiative between ChIPs and Diversity Lab which provides diversity benchmarks of historically underrepresented groups (female lawyers, underrepresented racial/ethnic lawyers, LGBTQ+ lawyers, and lawyers with disabilities) in law firm leadership and across practice groups, including IP. The survey goes beyond traditional diversity surveys by considering more than headcount. The purpose is to ensure that diverse lawyers have equal access to experiences in work allocation, leave, sponsorship, client pitches and other critical development and advancement opportunities at the practice group level.
