WilmerHale Named Litigation Department of the Year Finalist in National Law Journal and The American Lawyer Contests

Recognition

WilmerHale has been recognized by both the National Law Journal and The American Lawyer for its exceptional litigation and appellate work over the past year. 

The National Law Journal’s Legal Awards highlight firms whose handling of high-profile cases demonstrate an elevated level of expertise in their specified subject matter. WilmerHale was named to both the Pro Bono and Appellate Hot Lists and is a finalist for the Washington DC General Litigation Department of the Year. The finalists and winners will be celebrated at an awards ceremony on October 20, 2021.

The firm was also named a Litigation Department of the Year Finalist by The American Lawyer. This honor is awarded to the firms that devise novel solutions for the most complex cases. Also, WilmerHale Partner Seth Waxman has received the Lifetime Achievement Award. This award goes to a small group of lawyers who have made a remarkable difference in the legal profession. Waxman and the litigation finalists will be celebrated at an awards ceremony on December 2, 2021.
