On March 11, 2020, Partner Kenneth Zhou served as a moderator on a webinar organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in China on legal challenges in contract performance in relation to the outbreak of novel coronavirus in China. The webinar was well-attended and joined by many companies. The discussions focused on new legal challenges faced by businesses in China in connection with the outbreak of COVID-19, including performance of commercial contracts and use of “force majeure” clause and “changed circumstances” doctrine.
