WilmerHale hosted the 7th Annual GAR Live New York conference for Global Arbitration Review on September 26, 2018. Partner John Pierce, head of the International Arbitration Practice in the New York office, participated as an inquisitor during a mock senate hearing session titled, “The GAR Live Inquisition - This house believes that all awards tainted by corruption should be unenforceable.”

In a new format for GAR Live, this session replicated a US senate committee hearing with a succession of witnesses being ‘grilled' by a panel of GAR Live inquisitors.

The firm has hosted GAR Live New York for four years.
