The Contemporary Issues & Emerging Trends in International Arbitration conference is hosted by the Penn Law's International Arbitration Association, and will feature five panel discussions:
- Women in International Arbitration (with ArbitralWomen)
- Complexities of Diversity in International Arbitration and Ways to Reconcile Different Practices
- Enforcement Issues in International Arbitration (Yukos case) Including Post Annulment Enforcement
- Conflict of Interest in International Arbitration in the Context of Third-Party Funding
- The Future of International Arbitration in a Trump and Brexit Era and Its Impact on Other “Seats” With Other Legal and Political Developments
Opening remarks will be presented by Dean Ruger and WilmerHale Special Counsel Adam Raviv, who will also speak on the panel "Conflict of Interest in International Arbitration in the Context of Third-Party Funding." WilmerHale Partner Gary Born will give a keynote address, and WilmerHale Counsel Danielle Morris will speak on the panels "Women in International Arbitration" and "Enforcement Issues in International Arbitration (Yukos case) Including Post Annulment Enforcement."
