Partner Ronald Machen is speaking on the CLE Breakout Session “Did You Get the Memo? What the Yates Memo Means for Companies and Their Counsel” at the ABA's Section of Litigation 2017 Corporate Counsel CLE Seminar on February 18. The 2015 “Yates Memo” announced the DOJ's intention to aggressively investigate and prosecute individuals for corporate wrongdoing, and requires new levels of coordination between various counsel. In this “law school reunion” format, the panel will discuss ramifications of the Yates Memo from the perspectives of a government lawyer and in-house and “outhouse” counsel. The seminar will take place on February 16-18 at the Ritz-Carlton Grande Lake in Orlando, FL.
