ABA Business Law Section – Audit Letters: What You Need to Know in 2017

Speaking Engagement

Every year lawyers are called upon to provide information to their clients' auditors. This program will review the ABA "Treaty" governing lawyer's obligations to provide such responses and the important limitations designed to protect client confidentiality.  It will also address current issues affecting audit letters, including: how to report pending litigation, government investigations and demand letters; updates to audit requests; and electronic audit letter platforms.

WilmerHale Partner Thomas White will moderate the panel, which will include Miranda Mandel from the Attorneys' Liability Assurance Society and Noel Para from Alston & Bird.
