Helam Gebremariam

Helam Gebremariam is a litigator with a wide range of experience representing clients in complex civil litigation. Ms. Gebremariam also advises clients on government-related litigation and complex regulatory issues.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Gebremariam was senior counsel to the Deputy Attorney General at the US Department of Justice (DOJ). She served previously as senior counsel in the DOJ's Office for Access to Justice.

Before her government service, Ms. Gebremariam was an associate at a New York law firm, where she represented corporate and individual clients in litigation, arbitration and government investigations involving securities, antitrust and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.

President Trump Signs Executive Order on Plan for Reorganizing the Executive Branch

On March 13, 2017, President Trump signed an Executive Order setting forth the process by which the Trump Administration will consider the possible reorganization of the Executive Branch and the potential “eliminat[ion of] unnecessary agencies, components of agencies, and agency programs.”
