  • Negotiation of natural gas and electric supply agreements for office buildings, hotels, retail facilities and financial service centers
  • We have assisted numerous commercial, industrial and financial services companies negotiate energy supply contracts for individual facilities
  • We developed "master” electric and natural gas supply agreements for a major municipality in Connecticut in connection with the purchase of electricity and natural gas on a city-wide basis
  • We developed and negotiated "master” electric and natural gas supply agreements for a national company covering dozens of retail stores and distribution centers in the northeastern and eastern regions of the United States
  • Advising a national financial services company in obtaining market-based rate authorization from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, along with "competitive electric provider” authorization from individual state agencies and membership in applicable regional transmission systems, for an affiliate to purchase electricity on the wholesale electric market for sale to and use in individual facilities owned by other affiliates of the company
  • Advising clients on opportunities and impacts of pending state and federal legislation in the fields of green building, clean energy, and green house gas emissions
  • Representing property owners and developers on green lease and green development issues, including obtaining LEED® certification
  • Advising a property developer in obtaining a waiver of the "Buy American” provisions of the Recovery Act in connection with a development seeking LEED® Certification and compliance with the "Green Buildings” provisions of the Boston Zoning Code
  • Assisting clients on incorporating sustainable purchasing policies, as well as waste management policies for solid wastes and facilities alteration and addition wastes, into facility operations and facility leases
