Sarah Judkins’ practice focuses on energy, environment and natural resources matters. She advises and represents clients across a broad spectrum of industries, including renewable energy, recreation, mining, and oil and gas, on a variety of regulatory issues that arise during permitting, development and compliance. Ms. Judkins’ experience includes assisting clients in litigating matters before state and  federal administrative bodies, including the Colorado Public Utilities Commission and the Interior Board of Land Appeals, and in state and federal court.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Judkins served as a law clerk for the Honorable Carlos F. Lucero of the US Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. She was previously a legal fellow for the Environmental Defense Fund's Climate and Air legal team and a law clerk for a Denver-based law firm, where she handled matters related to aviation, real estate and redevelopment, and public lands.

While attending law school, Ms. Judkins worked for a number of environmental organizations, including Earthjustice, the Colorado Public Utilities Commission, Getches-Green Natural Resources Law Clinic, and the Getches-Wilkinson Center for Natural Resources, Energy and the Environment. She was also an intern for the Honorable Gregory Hobbs of the Colorado Supreme Court and in the Natural Resources and Environment Section of the Colorado Office of the Attorney General.
