Ruth Vinson focuses her practice on complex litigation, including defense of class actions and multi-district litigation. She has experience at all stages of the litigation process, from complaint to appeal. Her experience includes extensive trial practice, representing clients in products liability, consumer class action, antitrust and intellectual property trials. Ms. Vinson also defends clients in civil and criminal government investigations into alleged violations of federal and state laws. Ms. Vinson has represented clients facing investigations related to the False Claims Act, the Anti-Kickback Statute and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, among others.

Ms. Vinson maintains an active pro bono practice, with an emphasis on immigration law and criminal defense.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Vinson was an associate at two boutique litigation firms in Washington DC. She clerked for the Honorable Rosemary S. Pooler of the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit from 2015–2016, and for the Honorable Kenneth M. Karas of the US District Court for the Southern District of New York from 2014–2015.
