Ridge Blanchard

Ridge Blanchard provides strategic counsel to clients with a focus on crisis management, government investigations and congressional oversight.

Mr. Blanchard previously worked as a summer associate at WilmerHale in 2016. Prior to rejoining the firm, Mr. Blanchard clerked for the Honorable Lance M. Africk of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.

While pursuing his law degree, Mr. Blanchard worked as a law clerk for the Senate Judiciary Committee in the Office of Senator Mike Lee, as well as the US Chamber of Commerce Litigation Center and Office of General Counsel. 

Prior to law school, Mr. Blanchard was a legislative assistant in the public policy and regulation group of an international law firm. In that capacity, he advised municipal clients on a variety of federal issues, including appropriations, transportation and infrastructure, water resources, homeland security, healthcare, tax, and education. He also served as a legislative aide and legislative correspondent to former Representative Jeff Landry.
