Rhea Fernandes

Rhea Fernandes focuses her practice on complex litigation matters. She was the John A. Payton Summer Associate Fellow at WilmerHale in 2016.

Prior to rejoining the firm, Ms. Fernandes clerked for the Honorable Diana Gribbon Motz of the US Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

During law school, Ms. Fernandes was a director for the San Francisco Affirmative Litigation Project at Yale. She also served as a legal intern in the Criminal Section of the Civil Rights Division at the US Department of Justice and the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund. Prior to law school, Ms. Fernandes worked on voting rights issues at the Open Society Policy Center.
