Matthew W. Costello

Matthew Costello represents a wide range of clients in complex litigation matters. He was a summer associate at WilmerHale in 2015. 

Before joining the firm, Mr. Costello was a law clerk to the Honorable William E. Smith of the US District Court for the District of Rhode Island and the Honorable Gilbert V. Indeglia of the Rhode Island Supreme Court. During law school, Mr. Costello was a judicial intern to the Honorable Timothy S. Hillman of the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts and a legal intern for the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts. He also worked as a teaching assistant for first-year Civil Procedure and Constitutional Law courses. Mr. Costello won the New England Regionals of the National Moot Court Competition.
