Margaret O'Grady focuses her practice on antitrust litigation, responding to government antitrust investigations, and complex commercial litigation. She represents a variety of clients, including financial institutions and pharmaceutical companies.
Recent highlights include:
- Representing Cephalon, Inc. in a Federal Trade Commission investigation as well as in federal antitrust litigation pending in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania relating to drug patent settlement agreements.
- Defending a large financial services company in litigation and related investigations brought by the SEC and other state and federal agencies for claims related to breach of contract and fiduciary duty, ERISA and federal securities laws.
In addition, Ms. O'Grady maintains an active pro bono practice with a focus on family law and immigration matters.
Prior to joining WilmerHale, Ms. O'Grady was a teaching assistant in the Harvard Program on Negotiation and a policy analyst on a Senate campaign. She also previously worked in the Massachusetts State House as a legislative aide and researcher.
