Iris Carbonel is an associate who focuses her practice on complex litigation matters. She was previously both an associate and a summer associate at the firm.

Prior to rejoining the firm, Ms. Carbonel served as a clerk for the Honorable Denise J. Casper of the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts. During law school, she interned as a New York State Pro Bono Scholar at the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, where she researched a range of legal issues in civil and criminal matters dealing with racial and economic justice and education. Ms. Carbonel was also a student attorney in the Immigrants’ Rights Clinic, where she successfully assisted a client in securing asylum. She served as the president of the First-Generation Professionals and co-founded the Law School Pathways Program.
