Emily Nix focuses her practice on investigations and complex litigation matters before the US Department of Justice, the US Securities and Exchange Commission, and other state and federal regulatory and law enforcement agencies. She has experience representing clients from a number of industries in investigations involving securities law violations, insider trading, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and other regulatory compliance matters. In addition, she has conducted several compliance risk assessments and served on a federal compliance monitorship team. Ms. Nix served as a law clerk for the Honorable P. Kevin Castel of the US District Court for the Southern District of New York, and previously worked at the firm as an associate and a summer associate. Before pursuing her law degree, Ms. Nix worked for several years as a cyber threat analyst and personnel security specialist for the federal government.
