Alex Lee

Alex Lee focuses his practice on intellectual property and other complex commercial litigation matters. He counsels a broad range of clients—from large public companies to startups—across the biological sciences and technology sectors, including pharmaceutical therapy, medical device, computer software and hardware, video games, and cellular telephony. Additionally, he has represented clients in patent and licensing disputes involving AI and machine learning.

Mr. Lee was a summer associate at WilmerHale in 2016. Prior to joining the firm, he completed a legal internship for Google’s patent transactions team. Before receiving his law degree, Mr. Lee was a senior engineer in New Product Development at Edwards Lifesciences, where he worked on bringing a minimally invasive bio-prosthetic heart valve to market. He was also the lead quality operations engineer for a cleanroom that manufactured heart valve repair devices.
