Recognition

Joseph Conahan, a Boston-based partner at WilmerHale and co-chair of the firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions Practice, was featured as a 2019 New England Trailblazer by the Connecticut Law Tribune.

The profile highlights the highly complex deals Mr. Conahan guides companies through, some worth in excess of $1 billion, including the acquisition of Electro Scientific Industries by MKS Instruments and the sale of Perosphere Pharmaceuticals to AMAG Pharmaceuticals. He explains, “I’m a firm believer that for virtually all problems that present themselves, there’s a solution out there. People just have to be thoughtful and really listen to each other and figure out how to achieve that solution.” Mr. Conahan noted that as he continues to build his reputation as a dealmaker, he looks to add value by thinking creatively to accomplish his clients’ objectives.

WilmerHale has decades of experience advising public and private companies in all aspects of mergers and acquisitions in both the United States and Europe.
