Our Intellectual Property (IP) Department is interested in discussing positions with attorneys who have two to five years of post-JD experience with a degree in chemistry or biological sciences. A PhD in Organic or Medicinal Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or in a related discipline is preferred. Prior patent prosecution, post-grant proceedings or litigation experience with small molecule drugs and/or biologics is also preferred.
WilmerHale’s IP Department offers a broad platform and includes: patent prosecution, post-grant proceedings, diligence, opinions, counseling and strategic IP advice. The IP Department also works closely with the Litigation/Controversy Department in IP litigation matters at the trial and appellate levels, including Hatch-Waxman and biological products.
