Our Securities and Financial Services Department is seeking associates with three to seven years of post-JD experience in Securities Litigation (not including clerkships). The positions can be located in Boston, New York, Palo Alto or San Francisco.

Job Requirements

Qualified candidates will have experience in the following areas:

  • Experience handling securities litigation matters including representation of corporations or individuals in federal securities class actions and derivative suits.
  • Experience handling SEC Enforcement and other government investigations, internal investigations and other white collar and regulatory enforcement as well as related or parallel securities litigation matters.
  • Candidates are expected to have a thorough knowledge of the substantive and procedural laws applicable to these claims and excellent litigation and writing skills.
  • Candidates are required to be able to effectively manage these types of engagements in state and federal court. Trial experience a plus.
  • Experience in regulatory (e.g., the SEC, CFTC) or criminal (e.g., DOJ, a USAO, District Attorney, Office of the Attorney General) enforcement organization would be helpful but is not required.

  • Attorney must be licensed to practice law and a member in good standing in the state/jurisdiction in which the position is based.
  • Successful candidates will have excellent writing skills, strong analytical skills, and a willingness to positively contribute to a collaborative work environment.
