Mooney, Elizabeth C.
Elizabeth Mooney has a wide-ranging practice that focuses on complex commercial litigation, internal corporate investigations, and intellectual property litigation. Most recently, she has represented a major automotive manufacturer, a leading consumer electronics company, a medical device manufacturer, and a pharmaceutical company. Ms. Mooney also has appellate experience and has represented clients in the Second and Seventh Circuits.

Ms. Mooney maintains an active pro bono practice focused on assisting survivors of domestic violence. In particular, she works with women to obtain divorces and child support from their spouses.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Mooney spent several months volunteering in South Africa at an organization dedicated to combating xenophobia, where she helped refugees apply for and secure employment. During law school, Ms. Mooney worked as a research assistant for professors Len Rubinowitz and Kimberly Yuracko and participated in Northwestern Law’s Children and Family Justice Center.

Community Involvement

Ms. Mooney is also active in the community, participating in WilmerHale’s Public Service Committee and Women’s Leadership Initiative. She served as WilmerHale’s liaison to the United Way in the 2013 “Battle of the Boston Associates” fundraising initiative.
