Horton, Desley

Desley Horton is a senior associate in the Litigation/Controversy Department, and is a member of the International Arbitration Practice Group. Ms. Horton focuses her practice on international arbitration matters across a range of industries, including construction, manufacturing, oil and gas, and energy. She has represented clients in both institutional and ad hoc arbitrations under a variety of arbitral rules, including ICC, LCIA, SCC, SIAC and UNCITRAL, and sited in various jurisdictions, including both common law and civil law jurisdictions in Europe and Asia.

Ms. Horton has also acted in pro bono matters with the Media Legal Defence Initiative, notably representing Khadija Ismayilova in her privacy case before the European Court of Human Rights. Prior to joining WilmerHale, Ms. Horton practiced as a barrister sole with a leading chambers in New Zealand.
