DeAnna E. Evans

Senior Associate


DeAnna Evans focuses her practice on defense and national security, cybersecurity, and providing strategic counsel to clients facing complex regulatory matters. Her experience includes preparing encryption software applications, advising clients on data privacy and cybersecurity matters, drafting incident preparedness and response plans, conducting data privacy and data security assessments, and defending clients who are the subject of government investigations.  

Ms. Evans previously worked at the firm as a summer associate. While attending law school, she served as a legal intern at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in its Asia/Middle East and Ethics Divisions and in the Office of the General Counsel at Moody's Corporation. 

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Evans worked as a senior paralegal at a New York law firm where she researched legal developments in broker-dealer, private fund, public fund, investment adviser, commodities trading, and energy-related regulations for the firm's daily regulatory publication. Ms. Evans also worked at the William J. Clinton Foundation as a foreign policy intern and consultant for the Clinton Global Initiative University program. 

Ms. Evans maintains an active pro bono practice.
