Alix Pisani is an associate who represents a variety of clients in complex litigation matters.

Ms. Pisani was a summer associate at WilmerHale in 2015. Shortly after, she served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Jon S. Tigar of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. While there, she researched a range of topics before the court, including class certification, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and product labeling.

Previously, Ms. Pisani was a judicial extern for the Honorable Marla J. Miller in the Superior Court of California, County of San Francisco.

Among other significant developments, 2015 saw the U.S. Department of Justice (the “DOJ” or the “Department”) document a policy priority of holding individuals accountable for corporate wrongdoing. This policy was laid out in the “Yates Memorandum”—announced by Deputy Assistant Attorney General Sally Quillian Yates—and related changes the DOJ made to the U.S. Attorney’s Manual.
