Adriel I. Cepeda Derieux focuses his practice on complex litigation matters. He has extensive experience representing private and public clients in commercial and appellate litigation, as well as providing strategic counseling in anti-discrimination matters and government investigations.
Mr. Cepeda Derieux has experience litigating before state appellate courts, the United States Courts of Appeals and the Supreme Court of the United States. He has briefed appellate matters involving bankruptcy law, banking law, constitutional law and immigration law.
Mr. Cepeda Derieux maintains an active pro bono practice, focusing on issues related to civil rights, citizenship, immigration reform and immigrant rights, LGBTQ rights, and federal and state disability rights laws.
Mr. Cepeda Derieux was a member of the firm from 2010 to 2011, and rejoined the firm in 2013 after serving as a law clerk to the Hon. Juan R. Torruella of the US Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and to the Hon. Theodore A. McKee of the US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
