Danielle Conley Named a Minority Business Leader by the Washington Business Journal

Firm News

The Washington Business Journal named Partner Danielle Conley to its 8th annual Minority Business Leaders list, which recognizes the entrepreneurial drive, creativity and success of the Greater Washington region's top minority business leaders.

Conley is a partner in WilmerHale's Litigation/Controversy Department and Government & Regulatory Litigation Practice. She represents major corporations, educational institutions, and nonprofits in civil litigation and government investigations involving allegations of government fraud and violations of various anti-discrimination statutes, such as Title IX, the Fair Housing Act, and the Equal Credit Opportunity Act. She also represents clients on a pro bono basis in high-impact civil rights cases.

On February 20, the Washington Business Journal published a personal profile and video, showcasing Conley's journey-from recognizing her grandparents fight for equal justice to graduating from Howard Law School and becoming a partner as a young woman of color, and recently successfully challenging Texas' photo ID law as discriminatory under the Voting Rights Act in the United Sates Constitution.

Conley's achievements were celebrated at an awards ceremony on February 19 at the Ritz-Carlton in Washington DC.
