Today Bill Lee was named American Lawyer’s Litigator of the Week. Bill was recognized for last week’s back-to-back victories for clients Broadcom and Targus.

On Thursday, the firm scored another court victory for Broadcom when a Santa Ana Federal District judge ruled that Qualcomm was in contempt of its December injunction against using Broadcom patents covering wireless technology. Click here to view archive news about the Broadcom/Qualcomm dispute.

On Friday, the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit reversed a $49 million judgment against WilmerHale’s client, Targus Information. The Federal Circuit also vacated the finding of invalidity of certain claims of the Targus patents, providing a clear win for the WilmerHale client.
