WilmerHale’s Business Services Center in the Dayton, Ohio region opened in September 2010 and will house close to 200 employees—some transfers from existing WilmerHale offices and some new hires from the Dayton area.
Often referred to as the "Gem City," Dayton is a busy, mid-sized midwestern town in southwestern Ohio. The WilmerHale Business Services Center is located in the Miami Valley Research Park, east of Dayton in the suburban communities of Kettering and Beavercreek. A non-profit office park established in 1984, Miami Valley Research Park was designed to attract technology companies and organizations and is associated with four local academic institutions: Central State University, Sinclair Community College, The University of Dayton, and Wright State University. Boasting 1,250 acres of rolling green hills, a walk/bike path surrounding the grounds, and easy access to "The Greene," a shopping and restaurant center, the Park is a desirable office location.
Individuals in the Business Services Center include administrative support staff who are critical to WilmerHale’s business needs, but whose job functions do not require direct daily contact with our lawyers. Bringing together services such as finance, human resources, information services, operations, document review and management, and practice management into a central location provides improved efficiencies and reduces significant operational expenses for the firm.
