Wildgoose Brown, Ian

Ian Wildgoose Brown has a general corporate practice with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions for companies at all stages of growth. He regularly advises emerging companies with respect to a wide range of issues, including debt and equity financings and general corporate matters. He is also a member of the firm's FinTech Group.

Prior to joining WilmerHale, Mr. Wildgoose Brown was a summer associate with the Toronto office of Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP, where he focused on general corporate and securities law matters.

  • Represented Durata Therapeutics, Inc., a public pharmaceutical company, in its initial public offering and in a follow-on offering of common stock
  • Represented a venture-backed pharmaceutical company in its initial public offering of common stock

  • Represented Savient Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a public biopharmaceutical company, in a financing and debt restructuring by means of exchange and purchase agreements

  • Represented various underwriters in connection with public offerings of common stock by public pharmaceutical and technology companies
  • Represented Akamai Technologies, Inc., a public Internet technology company, in its cross-border acquisition of a private software company
