WilmerHale Partner Kirk Nahra will be speaking on both days of the Cybersecurity and Privacy Protection Conference 2024 at  Cleveland State University (CSU) College of Law. 

On April 18, Kirk will lead a session titled “The FTC’s Ongoing Revolution In Privacy And Security” from 1:45-2:30 p.m. This session will address the most critical areas of the FTC’s activity – where they are changing law, dictating new practices and seeking even more aggressive sanctions for regulatory violations. Attendees will learn where these activities are going and how best to plan for these investigations.

On April 19, Kirk will join the panel “Data Ethics” from 8:30-9:30 a.m. The panel will discuss challenges faced by organizations when it comes to ethically informed data collection, sharing and use, as well as emerging best practices for ethical data collection, processing and use and mitigating bias in the use of AI.
