Christopher J. Herrling is pro bono counsel to WilmerHale. Mr. Herrling coordinates the firm's pro bono program, oversees training in pro bono matters and provides assistance on substantive issues in these cases.
Prior to joining the firm in 1997, Mr. Herrling served as Executive Director of The Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia for three years, having served previously as Deputy Director with that organization. He also served as Director at the Student Press Law Center in Washington, DC. He has extensive experience in the provision of legal services to persons of limited means and is well known in the public service community.
